WAVE magazine: 4th Birthday!
New issue of WAVE magazine is launched on November 10, and Serbian edition on November 12. This is exactly four years, since the first issue appeared online, in November 2006, and we are proud to celebrate 4th birthday!
Some of our results so far are – international team of young journalists and translators, cooperation with numerous students and youth organizations and media all over the world, over 20,000 unique visits monthly and over 1,200 fans on Facebook. We promise to improve these results in next period.
And in November issue 2010, our No.49, you can read about project Art for all, and muralists and sculptors who gathered together in Seville, Spain, to build the largest museum in the open air in Europe. Also, there is a story from Ravenna, Italy, about new edition of Komikazen, International Reality Comics Festival. Our cooperation with FIST – Festival of International Student Theatre in Belgrade, keeps going this year, too, so you can read about their activities.
In Politics you will find an article about 20th Anniversary of German reunion, and Society informs you about chemical accident in Hungary, when red toxic river caused massive damages, leaving behind destroyed cars, bridges and houses, dead trees and vegetation and fields covered with chemical waste. Due to our cooperation with the Association of Hispanists, we have an interview with professor Dr. Dejan Mihailovic, about relations among Serbia and Latin America.
In Culture & Arts we have two interviews – with Vojislav Pantic, art director of Belgrade Jazz Festival, and with Stephen Frears, British film director. Another film is there, very important review of „Black Venus“. Very funny interview with chatterbot, and a story about Loebner Awards – the artificial intelligence competition, you will read in Science & Tech, as well as a report from Intel International Education Summit in Bucharest, Romania.
Sport is about Lucian Bute, Romanian boxing champion, and about women’s football in Armenia. And for the end Entertainment, there is again exchange with ’Reflejo’ and very interesting stories about tequila, and Spanish city of Zaragoza.
